Sourcey is an online shop selling a thoughtfully curated mix of antique and contemporary homewares pieces, an interior design consultancy and a sourcing service. We are based in London.
Hello I'm Jacqui, the Founder and the Finder-In-Chief of Sourcey. Before I launched Sourcey and began my interior design adventures, I worked in the magazine industry for over 20 years. I had the privilege to lead and publish some of the UK’s most iconic brands such as ELLE, ELLE Decoration, Esquire and Cosmopolitan. I was incredibly fortunate to work in a creative environment, alongside many of the best editors in the business. Yet, I was growing frustrated by corporate life and my business role, as a Managing Director. As a student I had gone to Art School (Art Foundation and a BA Hons in Graphic Arts/Printmaking). I wanted to do something new. Something, I felt truly passionate about, that capitalised on my business experience, but most importantly was creative. I love my home; it had become my creative outlet over the years. Always plotting and planning my next renovation project or advising friends how to make the most of their homes or where to source that special piece. So, I took the plunge, went back to college, and retrained as an interior designer at KLC in Chelsea Harbour.
In recent times the home has become our everything, the office, gym, school room, restaurant and most importantly, our sanctuary. With the new context of what home means to us now, my increased design knowledge and my love for hunting out those special pieces, I launched Sourcey.
