An unloved 1980s house on the Kent coast, transformed into a light-filled modern classic overlooking the English Channel. From the outset, we worked in close partnership with the clients, architect and contractors, guiding the vision across the whole project through a long and complex build. Our role encompassed space planning, lighting plans, bathroom design and the decorative scheme, through to procurement, styling and installation with our trusted makers. With so much coastal light, colour was key: every shade was chosen to stay rich and true rather than fade into the glare.
